these terms of service ("terms") govern your use of the siecle.ca website and any purchase of products or services from siècle en siècle inc. ("siècle," "we," "us," or "our"). by accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

siècle en siècle inc. is a corporation registered in the province of quebec, canada, with its principal place of business at 251 boul. des laurentides, laval, québec h7g 2t7.

1. products & services

siècle designs and manufactures custom upholstered furniture, including sofas, sectionals, chairs, ottomans, and headboards. all pieces are made to order in our montreal-area atelier.

because our furniture is built to your specifications — including dimensions, configuration, and materials — each piece is unique. we encourage you to work closely with your designer or our team to confirm all details before placing an order.

2. orders & pricing

all orders are confirmed upon receipt of a signed order form and the required deposit. pricing is based on the specifications agreed upon at the time of order, including dimensions, materials, and any custom modifications.

prices are quoted in canadian dollars (cad) unless otherwise stated. we reserve the right to adjust pricing for future orders at any time, but confirmed orders will be honoured at the agreed price.

3. com (customer's own material) program

siècle offers a full com program, allowing clients to supply their own fabric or leather. when submitting com, please note:

materials must meet our minimum quality and yardage requirements, which we will communicate upon order confirmation.
siècle is not responsible for defects, performance issues, or wear in customer-supplied materials.
any delays caused by late or insufficient material shipments may extend your estimated lead time.

we are happy to advise on material suitability before you place your order.

4. production & lead times

our standard lead time is approximately 6 to 8 weeks from the date of order confirmation and receipt of all required materials. lead times may vary depending on complexity, material availability, and production volume.

we will keep you informed of your order's progress. while we make every effort to meet estimated timelines, lead times are approximate and not guaranteed.

5. deposits & payment

a deposit is required to begin production. the specific deposit amount and payment schedule will be outlined on your order form. the balance is due prior to or upon delivery.

accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of order. all payments are non-refundable once production has commenced, except as required by applicable law.

6. custom & made-to-order policy

because each piece is custom made to your specifications, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on completed orders unless the product is materially defective or does not conform to the confirmed order specifications.

if you believe your order has a defect or discrepancy, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@siecle.ca with a description and photographs. we will work with you to resolve the matter promptly.

7. delivery & shipping

delivery arrangements will be discussed at the time of order. local delivery in the greater montreal area may be available directly from siècle. for shipments beyond our local area, we work with trusted freight and delivery partners.

risk of loss and title pass to the buyer upon delivery. we recommend inspecting your furniture upon receipt and noting any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

8. warranty

siècle stands behind its craftsmanship. we offer a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship for a period outlined in your order documentation. this warranty does not cover:

normal wear, fading, or aging of materials
damage resulting from misuse, neglect, or improper care
customer-supplied materials (com)
modifications made after delivery

9. intellectual property

all content on siecle.ca — including text, images, photography, logos, and design elements — is the property of siècle en siècle inc. or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. you may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

10. website use

siecle.ca is provided for informational and commercial purposes. you agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

interfere with or disrupt site functionality
attempt unauthorized access to any part of the site
use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
reproduce or scrape site content without permission

we reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the site at our discretion.

11. limitation of liability

to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, siècle en siècle inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question.
