siècle was born from nearly thirty years on the workshop floor. founded by eric berarducci, the atelier began as a neighbourhood upholstery shop and grew into something quieter and more deliberate: a made-to-measure practice built around the belief that furniture should outlast the trends that inspired it.
every piece is made by hand in laval by a team of dedicated craftspeople. whether you come to us directly or through your designer, the result is the same: a piece built to your exact specifications, in any fabric, with no compromise.

nearly thirty years in furniture, most of them hands-on at work, eric started on the workshop floor and eventually took over a small upholstery shop in laval. he still oversees every piece before it leaves the workshop, not as a formality, but because the details matter to him.
paola came to siècle from a career in linguistics and language teaching. a very different discipline that developed her instinct for precision. she joined the atelier in 2011 and built its administrative foundation from the ground up. every piece that leaves on time and on spec, she makes that possible.
